These are direct services that are provided by Community Mentorship staff to supervise and support individuals on a short-term basis due to the absence or need for relief of those persons normally providing care to the individual. These include licensed out-of-home and in-home Respite. These services can be provided in Community Mentorship owned/leased licensed homes or in the individual’s home, where they live with family or guardian. Respite service is provided in segments of day units (each day unit comprises a period of time that is more than 16 hours and up to 24 hours in length). This service may be provided by a family member or friend who meets the requirements for employment at Community Mentorship.
